Run Dragons sound system check: say Check. I'll try wiggling it around and another cable. If you are using a USB microphone, connect it directly to the computers USB port and not a USB extension or hub. At one point in TS settings, i would press unmute and for one second the 'bar' would go up, and i would hear a click in my headset, but still no bueno. I see the name in windows setting, teamspeak, etc.
I will be reinstalling Windows in the next day or two, and will have to reconfigure my Yeti, if you have not found a fix by then, I'll post what I did to get it working. This will only happen when your computer is registering the mic, so you can use that as a test to see if Windows is picking it up. One thing that may help your troubleshooting - when you press the mute button on the front, it will flash on and off.
To this day, I have to wiggle the cable for it to register on the bottom of the mic every time I reboot. I can't remember exactly what I did, but I remember the Yeti always being a pain to get working.
